ArcSoft Panorama Maker 4 Pro is a photo editor devoted to one single task – creating panoramic images by stitching a range of photographs of those scenes that won’t fit in just one shot. With just a few simple steps, this application will automatically render perfect panoramas by arranging the selected photos horizontally, vertically, as a 360º full sequence or in a tile layout. It also allows for manual fine tuning, if necessary.
The program will import your JPEG, TIFF, BMP, FPX, PCX, TGA and RAW digital images and will show them to you using thumbnails. Select one of them and ArcSoft Panorama Maker will automatically detect the photos that go with it by using the EXIF data embedded in the image.
Once you have selected the right range of images and the appropriate layout, the program will show you a preview where you can manually make some adjustments. By using pointers, you can tell Panorama Maker the right spots where the photographs overlap. You will need at least 6 images to create a 3D (360º) panoramic image, and a minimum of 4 for a tile panorama.
Designed for the non-expert, the program includes only minor editing functionality that allows you to fine-tune the brightness and the contrast of the images, as well as cropping and straightening them. As a bonus, you can add a frame and a title to the final photo before printing or saving it to disc. You can output the resulting panorama in its original size or downscale it for web use.
